Superbike world championship (SBK) is one of the motorcycle racing that is an internationally recognized fete founded way back in 1988. The sport is regulated by FIM and is closely related to the MotoGP. This championship has grown in to one of the world-class racing series and attracts very experienced racers.  Among the household names that have participated in this championship includes Carl Fogarty who has been declared a champion in this race 4 times. The best manufacturer cap has been given to Ducati. On the other hand Honda has been able to win this prestigious championship 6 times while Suzuki has won it once.

National Superbike Racing Tournaments

There has been a number of superbike racing tournaments whose popularity is continuing to grow every single day. Most of the championships take place in Britain Japan, Australia and North America. The tournaments include;

The British Superbike Championship 

This is motorcycle racing tournament referred to as The British superbike championship (BSB), it is one of the racing championships in the UK which is organized and managed by MCRCB. The Motorsport controls all the television rights. The Japanese rider Ryuichi Kiyonari has dominated most of the event winning in 2006, 2007 and the 2010 title. On all this occasions he has been racing for the Honda Company.

Ama Superbike Championship

It is one of the superbike racing series in the US which is part of the AMA pro Racing series. This Tournament was managed by AMA until 2009 when AMA disposed of the series to Motor Sports group. This is one of the superbike racing tournaments considered the longest superbike championship. The sport has been dominated by the Australian Mat Mladin who has been able to win 6 titles between 2006 and 1999. Other winners who have been able to win the races include Nicky Hayden and Texan Ben Spies.  Who won the Suzuki team world championship that took place in Yamaha.

Japan Superbike Championship

This championship is referred to as MFJ superbike and is one of the most interesting motorcycles racing championship which take place in Japan and is organized by MFJ. The championship was first run in 1967 and gives a chance to the many Japanese riders to demonstrate their skills.

The British superbike, AMA superbike, and Japan superbike championships are all motorcycle racing tournaments that have attracted both local and international riders. The championships are normally thrilling and spectacular. They are among the few races that guarantee big money to the winners of the race in the world.
