There are a number of racing organizations scattered around the world. The British racing Drivers club (BDRC) is considered as the organization that is the custodian of the racing heritage. Its core values have remained the same over a long period of time and in the US its job is to encourage and conserve the best racing initiatives. Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is one of the autos racing sanctioning body in the USA its history can be traced to John Marcum way back in 1953 who established MARC. ARCA has been organizing championships referred to as ARCA series. On the other hand, John Marcum founded the Midwes Association For race cars (MARC) as a stock car racing series. Which later changed its name to Auto Racing Club of America then the series became nationally and the attracted participants nationally.
The NHRA is perhaps the largest auto racing organization which was founded in 19 51. It was started by Wally Park whose commitment was to get the racing from the street and highways so that they could have their events taking place in places that are considered safe. NHRA’s mandated to provide guidance on the track. NHRA hosted a number of events which turned racing in to a hobby. Fans of NHRA have access to the behind the scenes racing action. NHRA thrives on its ability to organize unique competitions where it allows the drivers to achieve their goals. NRHA boasts of thousands of members and has a strong network of members. The Full Throttle Drag Racing series is one of the series organized by NHRA which has attracted the sponsorship of Coca-Cola Company. This is a new sponsorship deal that has a number of consumer programs which have generally contributed to the growth of NHRA awareness. Ever since the full throttle TV was unveiled in 2009, it has greatly increased the audio visual experiences of the fans that are featured interacting with their favorite drivers. This has increased the popularity of NHRA.
