Blood Diamond (2006)

This movie is a drama action movie with Leo was the main protagonist. The plot of the story is that Danny Archer ( Leo Dicaprio) is a smuggler of diamond who was caught and jailed as he was attempting to smuggle the diamonds going to Libya. When he found out that a pink diamond exist which was a rare kind, he went on his way to get it but he was caught on war against locals and other people who are also interested in the blood diamond.



Catch Me If You Can (2002)

This movie is a true story about Frank Abagnale Jr. who was a young con artist who traveled around the world and pretended that he was a lawyer, doctor, CIA agent and a pilot while spending counterfeit checks as his means of living. With great scenes of Tom Hanks chasing young Frank and escaping just in the nick of time, this movie has helped Leo transcend from being a teen heartthrob to a more mature male actor. Leo portrayed this unique role in this movie with ease and was nominated as best actor.



The Departed (2006)

This movie is the best action thriller movie Leo starred on. This film gave him the best actor award and marked his versatility as an actor since people were used to seeing him as a drama romantic actor. The Departed also starred “A list” stars such as Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, and Jack Nicholson.



Romeo and Juliet (1996)

This movie was a romantic drama movie that made Claire Danes and Leo. Leo won the best actor award as he portrayed Romeo in a modern world. the movie used an old English grammar which was very unique and since then there hasn’t been a movie that followed that kind of dialogue. Although he was just a supporting actor for this movie, his portrayal of Arnie is so close to being a real mentally challenge child.
