In recent years, we have come across different people from all over the world become millionaires in their own right. With perseverance and dedication to their craft, these young people have struck gold with their chosen craft. Now, we can finally name the top 10 youngest millionaires in the world.

Mark Zuckerberg

Born on May 14, 1984, he is one of the youngest millionaires in the world. He is one of the five co-founders of social media Facebook which has taken the world by storm. Around April 2013, he has taken the seat as the chairman of the corporation and has earned a whooping 13.3 billion dollars.  In 2010, he has been named as one of the top 100 wealthiest and most influential people all over the world. In 2010 as well, a movie based on Zuckerberg’s life was made to a Hollywood movie.

Chad Meredith Hurley

Born on Jauly 21, 1977, Chad Hurley became one of the top millionaires in the world when he launched the world famous video sharing website YouTube. In October 2006, he and his partner Steve Chen sold YouTube to Google for a whooping 1.6 billion dollars making them millionaires in their own right. It was reported that Hurley made around $300 million out of such deal and still continue to have a fair share of the earnings that Google make out of YouTube.

Andrew Gower

Born on December 2, 1978, Andrew Christopher Gower is a British video game developer who developed the online game Runescape. He is also the co-founder of Jagex Games together with Paul Gower and Constant Tedder. At around 2010, he left Jagex Games and started his own company called Fen Research in which he has much of the shares.

Blake Ross

Born on June 12, 1985, he is an American software developer known to have developed the web browser Mozilla Firefox together with Dave Hyatt who has another entry on this list. Ross developed Mozilla Firefox after he was disenchanted with his work at Netscape. He aimed to redesign the web browser to make it easier to use. And by the time it was released on November 2004, it garnered over a hundred million downloads after a year.

Dave Hyatt

He is an American software developer who co-founded Mozilla Firefox. Previously working for Apple, he and Blake Ross began working on a new web browser that allowed people to easily connect to the internet and gave them a user-friendly interface. He is also responsible for the creation of another web browser which is the Safari for Apple computers. He was an undergraduate at Rice University and graduated at University of Illinois. By the time he had worked on all of his proejcts he has garnered one of the top spots as one of the youngest millionaires of his time.

John Vechey

He is a co-founder of PopCap Games where hundreds of games were published and earned them millions and millions of dollars. Games like Bejeweled and Plants vs Zombies have driven the company up since it was first founded in 2000. Bejeweled was the first game to be released with Vechey as the head honcho. It was until the year 2005 that the company expanded with the acquisition of Sprout Games that they then released a sequel to their world famous Feeding Frenzy franchise.

Angelo Sotira

Born in February 14, 1981, Angelo Sotira is an American entrepreneur who founded Deviant Art. Deviant Art is a website that allows artists both professional and beginners alike can share their work and discuss about it. He was born in Greece and is now currently living in Hollywood California.

Dustin Moskovitz

Born in May 22, 1984, he and his pal Mark Zuckerberg co-founded Facebook. He is the third employee of Facebook aside from his circle of friends. In 2008, he left Facebook and co-founded Asana with Justin Rosenstein. By the year 2011, he had joined the ranks of his old friend as one of the world’s youngest millionaires even surpassing his friend later on to become a billionaire with his own work.

Alexander Levin

Alexander Levin was just 23 years old when he founded ImageShack which was a file hosting website. He now has $56 million under his account.

Jack Nickell

Alongside his partner and co-founder Jacob Dehart, he created Threadless and has around $50 million under his account.

We should all understand that these people did not become millionaires in just one night. They worked hard to produce high quality products that will boost them to where they are today. They have experimented with different things and with the right opportunity, they have succeeded and managed to become one of the elite members of the millionaire’s circle.
